Protozoa Agriculture is a small, agroecology-focused collective based in Washington, D.C., dedicated to reimagining sustainable agriculture at a time when our earth needs it most.
Our core work spans farming and food distribution, multimedia storytelling, and local outreach across the greater D.C. area. We also maintain a broader focus on communities across the U.S. and the Global South, where sustainable, indigenous, and historically marginalized farming traditions have endured and evolved in the face of systemic erasure.
The world stands on the precipice of great uncertainty; the irreversible changes wrought by the worst of human nature have left many carrying a collective grief of what could have been.
While we can't undo the past, we can together move forward in the face of the loss and trials to come. Protozoa Agriculture believes that our shared legacy of adaptation, diversity, and collaboration is the blueprint for a better, radically different future.
Something very special is coming very soon — and you can be the first to see it.
